During the winter season the Guests of the hotel Spa LA TORRE can reach the slopes directly and comfortably with the skis on their feet no matter if the slopes are for nordic skiing, snowboard, alpine skiing or for ski alpinism.
Our Hotel is located in a privileged position at the border of the cross-country ski stadium of Padola, with slopes for cross-country-skiing suitable for any need, agonistic and non, leading from the centre of the inhabited area to Valgrande. The slopes are of different lengths and different levels of difficulty: the school camp, the 2 km ring, the 5 km ring, the 7,5 km ring and the touristic slope suitable for everybody and leading through century-old woods offering enchanting landscape views.
For the enthusiasts of alpine ski, just about a hundred metres from the Hotel Spa LA TORRE begins the skiing district of the Alta Val Comelico, now part of the famous Dolomiti Superski, snowfall is guaranteed for the entire season, one single Ski-Carousel making up the new "Giro delle Cime" with 77 km of slopes and 31 ski-lifts. For skiing enthusiasts there are undoubtedly effectful slopes, of various difficulty levels and suitable also for satisfying the necessities of the most skilled.
For the little ones and beginners, there is the school camp, near the ski-lift-station; it is spacious, sun exposed and served by two ski-lifts for a safe and amusing approach, with the possibility of participating in ski group courses or private lessons held by professional teachers of the Ski School of Padola.
For the alpine ski there are numerous itineraries; nevertheless it is always essential to face this discipline with an adequate athletic preparation and possibly together with Alpine Guides or instructors.
